Crawler
LinkadeBot
Last updated October 18, 2026
LinkadeBot is the crawler behind Linkade, a link building tool that finds relevant sites and pitches them for links. If it appears in your logs, a Linkade customer is deciding whether your site is relevant enough to contact you about.
How to recognise it
Requests carry this user agent:
LinkadeBot/1.0 (+https://linkade.ai/bot)
What it fetches
It reads robots.txt, then a handful of pages: usually an article or resource page that already links to a similar site, your homepage, a contact or about page linked from that article, and at most two pages that web research points to for a published contact address. It reads the article once when your site is first considered and may read it once more before a message is written. It does not crawl your whole site, submit forms, sign in, or run scripts.
It only keeps addresses a visitor can read on the page. It does not decode addresses that you protect from harvesting.
How to block it
Add a rule to robots.txt. A group that names LinkadeBot is followed in preference to the general * group.

Stop outreach or report a problem
Replying “unsubscribe” to any message sent through Linkade stops further mail to that address. To block a whole domain, or to report a crawler that ignores these rules, write to hello@linkade.ai with the domain and a sample log line.
